Farewell to Geoffrey & Helen

Rev. Geoffrey Burn will be taking up his new post as Prison Chaplain in Rochester, Kent on Monday 10th October.

On Sunday 30th October everyone will have an opportunity to say their farewells to Geoffrey & Helen who will be coming to St John’s where Geoffrey will preside at the Benefice Eucharist, which will be held at 11.00 am. (Please note there will not be a service at St Stephen’s that morning.) There will be a presentation at 12.30 pm followed by a  buffet lunch.

A collection plate will be placed at the back of the church for donations to Geoffrey & Helen’s farewell gift. Alternatively donations can be passed to the churchwardens or treasurer.
