Christian Aid 2013

As I write this Christian Aid Week is nearly over. In the last few years,the weather has been cool and rather wet but collectors have braved the weather to collect envelope donations. The result of the village collection and donations from local churches will be in next month’s magazine.

Once again the collection at the County Store has been a great success. People are so generous despite the hard times we are experiencing. As usual it was manned by members of Churches Together who each did an hour’s collecting.

I would like to thank everyone who took part – both collecting and donating.

The grand total of £638.95 was raised for the work of Christian Aid.
