Public Worship Suspended
Posted on:
The Church of England published the following statement on their website today (Tuesday 17 March 2020 at 13:30 pm):
In light of the Government guidance around non-essential contact, the Archbishops of Canterbury and York have issued advice that public worship is suspended until further notice.
In light of this, there will be no midweek or Sunday services at any of our churches until further notice.
All other meetings and groups are also suspended until further notice and the Craft Fayre at St Stephen’s that was due to be held on Saturday 28 March has been postponed.
I apologise for any disappointment or distress that this decision may cause. I will be in touch again soon with further information.
Stay safe and keep praying.
– Mike, Vicar of Cinderford and Littledean
