About Me

Our next stallholder is another brand new stallholder for today! Please welcome Emma.

Hi, I’m Emma from High and Left Design. I started crafting my items earlier this year after finding many used shotgun cartridges around the place (mostly from my partner who is an avid Clay and Game shooting enthusiast). He collects cartridges and I wanted do find a way he can use them instead of just being in a cupboard. So I crafted him a pair of cufflinks from some old 10 bore brasses. Then I made our friends some from some 20 bore ones. And then went on to make myself a lapel pin and a pair of earrings from smaller cartridges. The obsession has grown from there and I am now starting to create pieces to sell. I named my brand “High and Left” as that’s what my partner and his shooting friends seem to shout at me when I miss on the shooting range (which is most of the time!). These accessories would make a perfect gift for Christmas or the perfect item to top off your outfit at the shoot dinner! They are all genuine, recycled (fully discharged) shotgun cartridges of various brands.
