Forest Foodbank Update

Posted on:

Cinderford Churches are pleased to be supporters of the Forest Foodbank, they have sent the following message:

At the moment the foodbank is being used a lot and we have run short of supplies.  We need most things except cereals and baked beans.  We especially need packet rice and pasta, instant mash potato mix, soup, jam, tinned veg and tinned meat.
May I thank you for your support over the past three and half years as we would not have been able to keep going.  Many thanks
Paul
If anyone is able to donate, there are collection boxes at all of the Churches in the Benefice (St Stephen’s, Belle Vue Road; St John’s, St John’s Square; St Ethelbert’s, Church Rd, Littledean), along with our partner churches around the community. There is also a collection point at the Cooperative Store on Dockham Road.
Anyone who needs to use the services of the foodbank can contact the vicar, Mike Barnsley, for some vouchers. Any contact will be kept in the strictest confidence.
