After posting yesterday, started reading Bede’s Life of St Cuthbert. (Continued tonight!) Other than that, Evening Prayer and Night Prayer. No TV!

Morning Prayer and good breakfast this morning again started the day. Set off about 9.00 in cloudy conditions, but again no rain throughout the day. Visited Knott End for a great view back towards Fleetwood, then on to Heysham and a decent walk around the back of the Nuclear Power Station to see a couple of old lighthouses. Traveled up through Morecambe, Carnforth, Silverdale and Arnside then round to Grange over Sands, on again to Rampside and round to Millom. 9 lighthouses. 134 miles on trike. About 5 miles on foot! No rain.

Heading up to Scotland tomorrow.

And finally …

Saw a sign today (in a seaside location, can’t remember where) on the front of a fast food outlet saying “Burgers Do’s and Don’ts”. I was intrigued and thought about what it might mean. I suspected possibly some advice on making sure burgers were cooked properly, or maybe some advice on what additions make a burger really good. Waiting for traffic to move, and still in sight of the sign, I looked back to see if there were any clues. The sign actually read ‘Burgers Dogs and Donuts’! A true ‘Should have gone to Specsavers moment’.

Thanks for your support and prayers. All going well and some very special moments. Thanks to Richard for the best news of the day. (Ask him!)

God bless.
