Private Prayer in Church – Sat 27 June
Posted on:
St John’s Church will be open for private prayer from 10.00am until 12.00noon on Saturday 27 June 2020.
This is an opportunity to spend some time in quiet private prayer in one of our churches for the first time since 23 March.
There will not be a service taking place and there will be no led prayers.
Safety of those praying and those who will use the Church in the future is of paramount importance.
Hand gel will be available for use as you enter and leave the building.
There will be a ‘one way’ system through the Church which must be observed by everyone visiting.
Entry will be through the main West doors, and exit will be through the kitchen/vestry on the North side of the building.
Social distancing of 2m must be observed at all times other than between members of a single household.
To avoid risk of infection, as advised by the Church of England nationally, there will be no books or prayer materials provided.
The toilet will not be available for use during this time.
Pews available (and unavailable) for use will be clearly marked.
Please follow all markings/instructions, and the directions of the stewards on duty, carefully and with consideration for others using the Church
