Our next stallholder is another new brand new stallholder! Please welcome Karen!
I am Karen. I live in the Forest of Dean with my husband and two cats, Polly and Philbert. I left primary teaching in July 2020 and now have more time to dedicate to my crafting.
I’ve always admired lino prints. I am drawn to them. I love the simple style and limited colour, and often the quirky nature of the design. Intrigued to have a go, I went on a course at my local arts centre in 2018 and loved it! That Christmas I was given a starter kit and begun printing in my kitchen. Since leaving classroom teaching this year, I have found a lot more time to do lino printing and am enjoying the process more and more as I am able to try out new designs and techniques.
