What’s on around the Benefice for the Coronation Weekend?

SATURDAY 6 MAY

Coverage of the parade & Coronation Service streamed onto the big screen from 10.00 am at St Stephen’s (GL14 2AA).
Refreshments available, all welcome.
Everyone invited to join celebrations in The Triangle afterwards.

SUNDAY 7 MAY

Coronation Parade, Service and Big Lunch.
Free family friendly event filled with celebration, food & drink, crafts and more to commemorate the King’s Coronation.
10.30 am Parade from The Triangle followed by a Celebration Service at St Stephen’s Church, “Big Lunch” Party on the lawn from 12 noon – 4.00 pm. Either bring your own picnic or purchase food & drink on the day (or a mix of both!)
Free craft activities to join in with to get into the celebratory mood!
In conjunction with Cinderford Town Council and Royal British Legion Cinderford Branch.
Food and drink options to purchase on the day provided by Nikki’s Events – We Make it Happen, 1st Ruspidge Brownies, 2nd Cinderford Guides, Forest of Dean Army Cadets Cinderford Platoon, Cinderford Royal British Legion and more…

“Big Help Out” Day
All the Benefice churches will be open at various times, all welcome to pop along to any of the churches and join in helping out with various tasks.
St Ethelbert’s, Littledean (GL14 3NL) 9.30 am – 11.00 am
St John’s, Cinderford (GL14 3EX) 10.00 am – 12 noon
St Stephen’s, Cinderford (GL14 2AA) 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
