The conference is an opportunity for women to meet and share fellowship together.
In 2014, we looked at how we were made to SHINE; in 2015, we looked at Connections; in 2016 we looked at “Rocking the Boat”, in 2017 we looked at how God is with us in the valleys and on the mountains and in 2018 we explored the theme “Mining for Gold.”
The 2019 SHINE conference will take place at St Stephen’s Church, Belle Vue Road in Cinderford on Friday 18 October (from 6.00 pm) and Saturday 19 October (9:30 am – 4:00 pm). The theme this year will be ‘Encountering Him’. The format will remain similar to previous years, with teaching sessions, times of worship (encompassing music styles from across the Benefice churches), prayer zones, reflection times, testimonies, sharing food together and plenty of time for fellowship.
All women are welcome to come along, regardless of which church (if any) you attend. If you know you are coming it really helps with planning and catering to know, so please do register. However, if you decide to come on the day that isn’t a problem either. There is no charge for the conference and there is no need to attend the whole event if you aren’t able, it would be great to have women join us for one or all of the sessions!
Tea will be served on Friday night from 6.00 pm, with sessions starting at 7.00 pm. On Saturday, the day will run from 9.30 am – 4.00 pm with lots of tea / coffee breaks served with cake along with a light lunch. Please let us know on the booking form if you have any special dietary requirements so we can cater for everyone.
